About the Role
The Project Administrator will operate out of the Athens, Georgia office. This person will support the Engineering Project and Validation Managers with administrative tasks associated with the team’s project portfolio. This person will also provide general office support duties. The Project Administrator will have a direct reporting line to a Senior Project Manager. Actual duties and total hours will be dependent on the candidate’s qualifications, availability and level of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend project meetings, record meeting minutes and action items.
- Process client purchase order requisitions and invoice receipts
- Oversee contractor registration at client facilities
- Assist with the collection of project closeout documentation
Schedule meetings on behalf of project managers and management team - Maintain office supplies inventory
- Track company receipts and expenses
- Collect and tabulate company time sheets
- Make travel arrangements for staff
- Additional project team support, as required
Optimal Candidate Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates’ or Bachelor’s degreepreferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Administrative Assistant. Preferred 3+ years of experience as a Project Administrator of Administrative Assistant in the construction industry.
- Must have good, polite and professional verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient with using a computer and comfortable learning new software tools.
- Proficient in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Further Job Details
- This position can be part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) or full-time depending on the candidate’s capabilities.
- Hours are flexible but are expected to be delivered during regular business hours, (Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm).
- Reliable transportation to the office is critical.
- Relocation assistance is not available.
