Project Initiation / Concept Phase

TCS’s team is qualified to manage your project’s initiating / concept phase with services in the following areas:

  • Analyzing business needs and objectives for establishment of measurable goals
  • Review and analysis of current operations
  • Financial analysis of strategic, current and operational objectives and targets
  • Identification of key project stakeholders and support personnel
  • Development of project scenarios, project charters, tasks, deliverables and schedules
  • Project estimating for a +/- 20% level of accuracy with escalation considerations
  • Assistance with determination of a Go / No-Go project decision 

Project Planning, Basic Studies & Appropriation Phase

Our goal is to provide leadership and support to your project team during this phase for scheduling, cost and resource analysis to effectively reduce risk during the project execution period.   Triad accomplishes these goals with services in the following areas: 

  • Conduct project kickoff meeting; estimating & assigning resource requirements
  • Establishment of internal & external project team members, roles and responsibilities
  • Identification of deliverables, work breakdown structures and logical sequencing
  • Development of client’s project definition and functionality requirements
  • Initial basic engineering and architectural design
  • Design reviews for value, quality, health, safety & environmental and biosafety

  • Updating the project schedule with fast-track logistical procurement considerations
  • Review and development of project risk plans
  • Development of capital funding appropriation requests

Project Execution, IQ/OQ/PQ & Close Out Phase

Our Project Managers implement strategies and control of a project to ensure a successful delivery to our clients.  Our services include:

  • Management and oversight of A&E development of detailed design & specifications
  • Review and oversight of IFB, IFC, shop drawings, change control documents and construction plans including safety monitoring and installation execution
  • Procurement and logistical support for all tendering phases
  • Assistance with process hazard analysis and qualification plans
  • Facility MEP equipment commissioning support and execution
  • Support and attendance of FAT and SAT (Factory & Site Acceptance Testing)
  • Project construction management, punch-list and as-built record management
  • Development of facility, equipment training plans and standard operating procedures
  • Review and assistance with project IQ/OQ/PQ protocol development and implementation
  • Project closure, including all activities to formally close out contracts, as-builts, and funding
  • Release of project and final meeting for “Lessons Learned”
